Summary in plain English
Use the site honestly, don't try to break it, and don't pretend our designs are yours. If you buy a kit and it arrives broken, we'll replace it. If our drops sell out before you check out, that's on us; we'll do our best. Below is the long version.
1. Who these terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fledgemade.com and any product we sell ("Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. We may update them; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
2. Using the website
- You agree not to attempt to break, scrape excessively, reverse-engineer security, or use the site to spam other users.
- You agree the search tool relies on third-party observation and mapping data and may occasionally be inaccurate or unavailable.
3. Buying kits
Pricing & availability
Kits are sold exclusively at fledgemade.com. Prices are listed in USD and include any applicable sales tax for your jurisdiction at checkout.
Shipping
Domestic US shipping is via USPS or UPS Ground. Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days from the order ship date. We don't currently ship internationally; we'll update this when we do.
Returns & defects
- Damaged or defective on arrival: we replace it free, no questions, within 60 days. Email hello@fledgemade.com with a photo.
- Changed your mind: within 30 days, ship the kit back and we'll refund or exchange. All you'll need to cover is the return shipping fee.
- After 30 days, used outdoors: we don't accept those returns, but reach out. We want to know if something's not working so we can improve the design.
4. Intellectual property
The Fledgemade name, logo, brand assets, product designs, STL files, and parametric generator are all owned by Fledgemade and not licensed for resale or redistribution. If you want to manufacture or resell Fledgemade designs, contact us, we're open to partnership conversations, just not to copies.
5. Conservation contributions
A standard 2% of revenue from every kit goes to conservation efforts supporting native cavity-nesting and ledge-nesting birds. We reserve the right to substitute the recipient organization in the rare case the chosen partner can no longer accept donations.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
We design our kits to be safe for birds and durable outdoors, and we engineer based on guidance from NestWatch, the North American Bluebird Society, and similar bodies. But we don't warranty specific outcomes: whether birds will use your house, what species will nest, or whether nesting will succeed depends on your local environment, placement, and luck. The Services are provided "as is."
